- All members who wish to breed their dogs (females and males) are required to follow the instructions provided by the Italian Eurasier Club which will require the following checks regarding the following hereditary pathologies:
- Skeletal diseases (dysplasia of the hips and elbows, luxation of the patellas, transitional vertebrae)
- Thyroid dysfunctions
- Dandy-Walker-Like Malformation (DWLM)
- Eye pathologies
- Any hereditary coat color abnormalities
They are also required to attend the special breeding seminar periodically organized by the Club.
- The Club does not allow the female to mate before the 3rd heat and no later than the eighth year of life
- The subjects to be mated must be chosen in collaboration with the Breeding Manager or his collaborators who will study the subjects and their bloodlines by evaluating health, behavior and morphology based on the FCI 291 standard
- The puppies must be registered with ENCI according to the established rules and deadlines
- Before delivery the puppies must be dewormed, identified with the application of the microchip and vaccinated
- Breeders must ask the new owners to register with the ECI and to pay the deposit for the examinations of hereditary diseases: they must clearly explain the importance, times and methods of execution.
